I am a mother of a teenage daughter. I have worked with children and families my entire career and love exploring and discovering untapped strengths and potential in both students and families.
My daughter and I love all things music, singing, dancing and playing. She turned 18 this year, and that has brought about all kinds of new adventures. She is heading to U of L for her Bachelor of Science in Math and Bachelor of Education.
To make myself feel better, I keep telling myself this is a sign of successful parenting, watching them launch out for independence and autonomy. I am confident she will do great.
