ALERT/ICE Presentation

The iCampus School Council's are very proud to present an evening about Online Safety brought to us by the Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams (ALERT) Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) unit.

On September 24th we are hosting an evening of information for families.

5:00-6:00 - We are providing supper prepared by the Innisfail Golf Course sponsored by Innisfail Family and Community Services (FCSS). We do need to make sure there is enough food available, so please RSVP on this link for supper.

6:00-8:00 - The ALERT presentation in Gym 4. This is open to everyone 14 and up, babysitting is available in Gym 2 (thank you to McMann staff and Town of Innisfail Rec Staff) for younger kids. There is no need to RSVP for the presentation, it is open for all in the Innisfail Community.

Some of the topics that will be discussed include who the ALERT and ICE teams are, the internet and social media, child luring and sextortion, artificial intelligence and emerging online sites/apps and how we can work together to keep kids safe online.
